Hacken vs Elfsborg

Hacken welcomes Elfsborg in the 29`th round of the Allsvenskan. There are two rounds to go and both of the teams have nothing really to play for. Elfsborg is fourt in the league with 52 points and 7 behind Goteborg. Their chance to make something at the top went some time ago. Hacken is placed 7`th with 39 points and are cruising in the middle of the table. They are far away from the danger  zone and I see this a good opportunity to play some stress free football. Goals have been coming strong in this league for some weeks now and it seems everybody wants it to be over. Hacken is averaging 2.6 goals per game but score and concede more at home. Elfsborg on the other hand has the best average in the league with 3.2 goals per game. 3 of the last 6 Hacken matches went over 3.5 goals while Elfsborg went over rhe line in 5 of the last 5 matches. Nobody will care much for the result though Elfsborg will like it more to finish 4`th I guess.

Early days in the A League and we have this Sydney derby match.

Sydney have drawn and won their first two games while Western have yet to win after losing their first home match and getting an away draw latest.

Sydney finished 2nd last year 32 points ahead of Western. Sydney have got the better of Western in their last 4 H2Hs which includes two home victories.

I'm sure many don't expect Western to have such a bad season as last and they will look to improve but Sydney look quite stable from last season and have kept most of the players from last season.

I take Sydney to come out on top in the derby again.

Host team coached by Oddo missed still to have right continuity but anyway they have shown clear to have enough strenght to beat any kind of opponent team (to remember Pescara defeated Cagliari and reached points in hot grounds as Bari and Vicenza.

Pro Vercelli, come from key won match, for their permanence, against strong team as Vicenza: in that match new coach Foscarini (ex Cittadella) made his debut going over than the best aspectatives and Pro interrupted negative streak of 4 losses in a row.

I guess they will face this away match without big pressure cause they will play to take off the draw and they know that Pescara have to build the match.

Pescara will be without Fornasier, Mignanelli, Valoti, Sansovini and Memusha (key MF) but they have many alternatives to field and don't forget that Oddo started the season with a lot of injuried players being able to give substance to his ideas

Lazio - Rosenborg

Lazio and Rosenborg are against each other tonight in this Europa League match. This match will be played in Olimpic Stadium of Roma and in my opinion this must be a huge advantage for Lazio to make a good performance at home and to secure a positive result in front of their supporters despite that they know very well that they should not under estimate Rosenborg.

Rosenborg is actually in the 3rd position of the group G with just a single point from two matches that they have played so far while Lazio stands in the 1st position, leading the group with four points from two matches that this team have played at the moment. Lazio took just a draw in the first match in transfer against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk with the result 1-1 but than secured an important win at home against Saint Etienne with the result 3-2. In the other side Roseborg took a draw 2-2 in transfer against Saint Etienne and than lost at home against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk with the result 0-1.

In my opinion we must see Lazio in a huge advantage tonight at home against Rosenborg and i expect them to easy win this important match so ill take Lazio to win it.

Atletico Madrid - Astana

Atletico Madrid and Astana are against each other tonight in this Champions League match. This match will be played in Vicente Calderon Stadium of Madrid and in my opinion this must be a huge advantage for Atletico Madrid to make a good performance at home and to secure a positive result in front of their supporters despite that they know very well that they should not under estimate Astana.

Astana is actually in the 4th position of the group C with just a single point from two matches that they have played at the moment while Atletico Madrid stands in the 2nd position with three points from two matches that this team have played in this qualification of group stage. Atletico Madrid started this group stage really well with a win in transfer against Galatasaray with the result 0-2 but than lost at home against Benfica with the result 1-2 so they have to win this match in order to still hope of securing that 1st spot and at the same time not risk to progress in the next round. In the other side Astana lost the first match in transfer against Benfica with the result 2-0 and than took a suprising draw 2-2 at home against Galatasaray.

In my opinion we must see Atletico Madrid in a huge advntage tonight at home against Astana as the difference between these two teams is huge so ill take Atletico Madrid with handicap

Bayer Leverkusen - AS Roma

Roma need a result in this one. If they go down here they can say goodbye to the CL knockout stages.

You don't really know what Roma is going to turn up, the one that managed to lose at BATE or the one that held Barca at home but I think the double chance on them at 2.00 is a reasonable price considering Leverkusen don't have great pedigree in european competition not withstanding the Ballack team of many years ago. Not really big hitters in europe Leverkusen but then again neither were BATE but I go for the better face of Roma to turn up for this match.

GAIS can go a long way here to ensure their survival in Superettan with a win here. They are 2 points away from the relegation play-off spots. After this game they have two tough looking fixtures one of which is away to relegation candidates Brommapojkarna and they play at home to 3rd place Sirius at home after that so this match can be the key one for them to ensure safety.

Visitors Syrianska have nothing to play for. Sometimes when a team does not really require victory near the seasons end they can have a sting in the tail due to pride if they are coming off a couple of bad results or losing sequence but this does not apply to Syrianska who have a win and a draw in their last three matches the draw against Jonkopings being their latest result.
